What are the requirements to become an Alpha Beta Brother?
Every semester, our pledges are required to go through a pledging process, which abides by our strict non hazing policy. Although the pledging process is not intended to be difficult, it shows commitment toward the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service. At the successful completion of all requirements, the pledges may become a Brother of Alpha Phi Omega the following semester.

Every pledge is required to complete the following before becoming a Brother:
  • Pay a $65 Pledging Fee at Beginning of Semester
  • Conduct interviews with Brothers and earn 50 Interview Points
  • Pass all quizzes with and 80 percent or higher
  • Create and assemble a pledge paddle as a fraternity keepsake
  • Plan and carry out either one leadership, fellowship, service project with your fellow pledges
  • Attend the Pledge Retreat
  • Attend 5 out of the 8 brotherhood meetings
  • Complete at least 20 hours of service (Note: Projects are planned by the brotherhood)
